Kick-start your business is a fully funded programme helping people get into entrepreneurship, turn their idea into a working product and providing them with industry advice.
Growing businesses who are looking to boost their business or grow and take their business to the next level.
Start-ups who have a business idea that they want to make into a viable business model or perhaps a develop their small existing business.
School/college leavers who want to be self-employed but don’t know where to start. You might want to use your existing skills to start-up, or perhaps you’re just exploring your options and ideas.

The final week will be a pitch event where you will get the chance to present your business to a panel. The winner will receive a support package to boost their business idea.

Each week we’ll guide you through a different aspect of starting up. Developed in association with Petroc College, you’ll have access to shared-use laboratories housing the very latest 3D printing and design facilities, the Centre is the perfect setting for local entrepreneurs to hone concepts and develop.
An evolving array of flexible computer controlled machines that allow you to invent, make and share. You could print t-shirts, design & produce 3D prints, make beautiful embroidered designs, laser cut dreamcatchers from wood or Perspex or CNC machine an electric guitar.
